Petit Verdot, often the backup singer in blends, steps into the spotlight here—and absolutely steals the show. Ink-dark and full of attitude, it greets you with a bouquet of violets, black plums, and crushed herbs.

On the tongue, it’s like sampling a dark fruit platter, rich with black cherries and blueberries, wrapped up in leather, cocoa, and a hit of peppery spice. Its firm tannins and zippy acidity mean it’s built to age, but pair it now with roasted venison or aged cheddar and thank us later
